Our economy is at war with many forms of life on Earth, including human life.

What the Earth needs in order to avoid collapse is a massive contraction in humanities use of resources – all supplied by Earth.

What our economic model demands in order to avoid its own collapse is unfettered growth.

To look at these two opposing forces is to know collapse of one or the other is immanent.

Which one would you choose?

And what are you fighting for?

For we need to all become activists. Urgently.

I cannot look upon the sunrise and not feel the pain of man’s disregard of our precious Earth.

Of the hideous lust and ill-considered greed for more bright shiny things. Of an economic model that is built on unfettered growth.

I despair that we are so distracted by such ugliness at the level of global leadership, all propped up by corporate greed, where humanity is reduced to numbers, and our own insatiable need for power is causing the biggest diaspora ever…and those people – uprooted by human created wars and famines – are treated with such loathing and fear.

To know and not to do is not to know. Wang Yangming

It is our choice. Us.

We, the people.
